If you are old enough to post on 4chan, then Pokemon as per a gaming media is not catered to you whatsoever. The game franchise has always been catered to the age groups of 7-15 years old.

If you are unironically older than this, and take the Pokemon game franchise seriously, then you may want to take a moment to reflect on your identity and your particular tastes; you are a grown ass adult and are wondering why the thing you enjoyed when you were 8 isn't the same now that you're 30 and you're unironically and unequally cringe. The only thing you have left is either passing the joy onto your children (lol, as if you'll have any) or sticking around because you're a coomer, or a furry, or you're perpetually stuck in a cycle of nostalgia chasing because you can't cope with the fact, that you are the boomer now.
