And that's the fucking issue, it sells guaranteed 16m each Gen, it's normie enough now there's adults who played red as teens with kids and introducing them to the series now, peole who's little siblings layed the fuck out of the games that hen they had kids themselves, they got them into "that kid's game my little brother loved when we were younger".
It's a part of the fabric of society, has been since it survived fad status (you know, like fidget spinners and yo-kai watch?) and celebrated a 10 year anniversary. And that means there's always going to be a normie parent with no fucking clue how games work (dying breed mind, the oldies are getting more tech-savvy) or one who'd come in contact with it in the past to buy their kid the games.
