I feel like it's normal abilities were just there to serve as flavor ribbons because they knew full well that when they gave it Magic Bounce all anyone would use would be Magic Bounce.

Huge Power on 55 Attack and 75 Speed with HDB sounds decent. Just drops to anything but it also dishes out well. It has a pretty good movepool. I don't think it'd be OU but it could actually get into a tier this way I reckon.

Politoed is more sad than anything, sure it was the face of gen 5 but the moment weather got nerfed it dropped like a brick. Despite having an absolutely incredible ability it couldn't muster to make rain relevant again because it really was just that terrible, then the moment a different shitmon got drizzle it proceeded to be completely outclassed.
