How many badges does Goh have? How many competitions has Goh won? How many tournaments has Goh entered? I like Goh, but treating him as some kind of superior to Ash because he caught a legendary he will likely never use is just silly. Besides, Ash already has a mythical. The anime makes no distinction between mythicals and legendaries

Goh caught 75 Pokémon in just 51 episodes. Meanwhile, Ash was only able to catch 40, and 30 of those are fucking Taruros. The others were Pikachu, Butterfree, Pidgeotto, Bulbasaur, Charizard, Squirtle, Krabby, Raticate, Primeape, and Muk.

His goal is to catch all pokemon, of course he's gonna catch a lot of them. Ash was never interested in catching all pokemon (yes, Ash did state this in the very first episode, but that was long before the anime decided what it wanted to do)
