easily the worst region in the series. I don't know what the fuck they were thinking with it.

>absolutely dogshit pokemon distribution; all 6 floors of mt coronet have nearly the exact same random encounters and after the 2nd gym you just encounter the same generic kanto shitmons and bidoof/staravia/buizel/gastrodon ad nauseum
>HMs shoved everywhere because the designers thought backtracking to pick up ethers and vitamins counts as good level design
>every route looks the fucking same (grass with some mountain/cave parts on the side) and are forgettable as fuck except for the snow routes
>the snow and swamp routes have extra tedious mashing gimmicks added for no reason
>nearly every feature in the game needs to have some dogshit tedious part added in, like honey trees having garbage rates and taking hours to spawn anything and the safari zone bootleg being filled with boring garbage like wooper and bibarel most of the time unless you wait days

thanks, I will, it has overworld encounters so I don't have to walk in circles like a retard, I don't have to wait until retarded post-game gimmicks just to find more Pokemon, every area has high replayability since there are multiple unique pokemon in it with the wild area parts changing daily, and I can fast travel and surf without needing to carry otherwise pointless shitmons on my team.
