Doubt Galar would have a big shake-up considering Unova’s results are still showing similar faces 10 years later, even on an international poll compared to just a Japanese one. Chandelure even won twice, which is why I’m shocked >>46201204 is even shocked.

Most based thing about Unova is that all it's starters sucked, and it's shillmon failed miserably.

So the most popular Pokemon is based on design alone.
Also if you look at the number of votes, at the top end Unova has less than other gens, but nearer the bottom it has more than most. Which means votes are far more evenly distributed through the dex.
