Change its name to "Adoration", change it to be a 25% chance not to attack, and don't make it gender exclusive, along with the Sp.Def drop, and yes.

Infatuation is already strong with confusion, flinch and paralysis. People just prefer not to use luck based strategies because it's considered poor sport. I remember someone running Lanturn with Attract/Confuse Ray/Thunder Wave/Headbutt back in Gen 2. Very annoying but funny too.

Being gender exclusive makes it less useful.
Changing the name to adoration is just to prevent any gay implications and instead have it be like the Pokemon is so cute that you don't want to hurt it.
