>>46210827>It's going to be a port of the N64 version anon. It's a completely different game. Is New Super Mario Bros. a port of Super Mario Bros.? Regardless of the quality of either game, they're literally different games.
>THAT wasn't LOTR: Extended editions - Director's cut runtime in lengthTo get to the credits or for high scores, because the original was a game that actually incentivized high scores, unlike so many other games with a score. I think to this day, people could get higher scores on a lot of Pokemon. Granted, I don't think anyone has done a Tool Assisted Score Attack, maybe I should learn how.
>and judging by what Ishi's revealed and confirmed for the console he was sure was going to be a flop, taking any other angle of attack's stupid. Onus is on him and he ain't showed it yet.The rescue team remake went above and beyond as far as content and mechanics go, but yeah Pokemon games on Switch have been pretty sparse. That also having been said, Pokemon spin-offs were sparse on the 3DS because they were focusing on smartphones then too, so I don't really get your point there. Lastly, all Ishara had to do with the game was approving that it exists and maybe giving them a budget (he's probably a producer and that's it, probably executive producer if I had to guess). It's better to compare it to Namco's last Pokemon game, Pokken Tournament, if we want an indicator of quality (although how much each team has in common is questionable).
I don't understand why length=quality in your mind. If any course took longer than a few minutes, it would be awful to replay. Have you ever played a rail shooter before? Now, more courses would be nice, hopefully the game has about as many as the original, although Rainbow Cloud is barely a course. I'd say a double digit number of courses is unlikely, but I'd also like to see different times for the courses, using the same maps but with different lighting and scripting would increase the content a lot for less effort.
