DP Remakes will look like this no matter how hard Let's Go fags deny reality. DP remakes are being made in the SwSh engine, they will have dynamax, and they will have a wild area. They won't havethe shitty mobile tier graphics you fags love so much. They will be Mainline games, unlike LGPE.

Is LGPE graphics with swsh graphics too much to ask? Also please LGPE graphics won't mean LGPE's overall tone which kinda downplayed all the action… thanks.

Either Gf needs to cope with the fact that its demographic is growing up or its demographic needs to cope with the fact that the company simply aims at children.

I know abstractionfags and simplefags are ready to say otherwise but it doesn't hurt for Pokémon remakes to have a little upgrade in atmosphere. Even if I didn't like the idea of an open world game or a Kanto revisit, I'll admit it deserved this treatment as well over Let's Go for the sake of comparison and consistency.

How about GameFreak just starts catering to children again like they did with LGPE? Kids like simplistic yet hard to master gameplay in an open-world setting that encourages multiplayer interaction. LGPE had all of this while SWSH went in the other direction with a text-based narrative without any open world elements put in at all.

There's nothing tying these features to Kalos at all. We even know that GameFreak is willing to go back on that because SM did end up having character customization which really was Kalos's regional gimmick.

There's virtually nothing introduced since after gen V that's a mainstay. They scrapped pretty much all of those things listed in SwSh along with not having a single returning character for a reason. The series has too much baggage and people trying to say all of the experiments are "mainstays" doesn't make it true. They'll use a mechanic until they think they've found a replacement for it, that's it.

Using dynamax to set weather or to destroy your opponents weather is a nice touch though. And you can buff and debuff stats with it too. And all damaging moves megas use are power moves due to the often drastic increases to their stats.

I just don't see how megas would work going forward since the power creep has gotten so insane that even megas can't complete with some of the things they've released since gen 6. You have things like Dragapult, Cinderace, and Rillaboom that could pretty much obliterate most megas without even using their gen's gimmick.
