Pokemon are always memorable.
Gen 7 felt like a fever dream that was moving so slowly and so vividly but the minute I woke up I forgot all about it with the exception of Hop and Lillie because they were hammered into my mind so much from them saying the same things over and over.
I cannot remember the names of the islands or any areas except for Poni and Poni Canyon, I cannot remember the mechanics for the Battle Tree since it was such a downgrade from the Maison, I cannot remember how to access the GTS or Wonder Trade in Gen 7, I can't remember why Z-Moves only worked in Alola for whatever reason, and I can't remember the mechanics for Battle Royales either.
But I can remember exactly where to go for Inverse Battles in Gen 6 and how they worked. Was it autism?
