Synchronoise sounds cool in concept but then you immediately realize in execution it's completely useless because only Psychic types would ever want to use it which means unless you like, use it vs. a flying type as Sigilyph or something (just use Psychic) you're gonna be hitting for not very effective damage. I remember it being buffed all the way to 120 BP but then they just cut it from the game this gen because I do not think a single person has ever tried to use it seriously.

Well yeah you might use it over Earthquake, but you'd never use it over Thousand Arrows. Heck, you wouldn't even use it over Thousand Waves.

Good idea, but I think it would have been fine if it had just gotten greater distribution as a TM. So many mons that got it were Psychic type, and mono-Psychic at that!

It literally does though, strenght and cut are now Machamp's and Kartana's sugnature moves respectively, despite being usable by 90% of all pokemon when they were still HMs.

Zygarde is the pokemon of control and life management (the point in between Xerneas, who gives life, and Yveltal who brings death), it makes sense for Zygarde to be the only pokemon who can do "Earthquake but controlled so it only fucks the enemy"
