Or they give it some actual fucking moves and don’t make it the most objectively useless Pokémon in the history of the franchise. At least anything else useless evolves or has multiple moves.

I don't give a shit about Sinnoh remakes but people post this as some sort of proof that DP won't get remade but you could get one of Palkia/Dialga/Giratina in HGSS. It's not like there isn't precedent for being able to catch another main game's legendary in that same generation.

I think you are forgetting which franchise you're talking about, and what they have proven time and time again that they can get away with while still breaking sales records.

They don't "have to" do anything, they can give Unown a completely new and shitty move and say something like "it would literally break our fingers and take food out of our children's mouths to reprogram this move on the new hardware" and most of the fans would just go "oh yeah, totally homie, and we'll kill anyone that calls you out on that."
