We are talking about the toys and cards as physical merch
Pokemon has the games in red/blue and then Pokémon go no toys and yugioh has good cards but they can compare to the boom of the Bakugan toys

Based on your godawful speech you must be retarded. Bakugan never lived up to Pokemania in the 90s. It did well for itself at the time, it was popular with it's demographic, but it never entered the public consciousness beyond that demographic.

The Bakugan anime SUUUUUUUUUCKED. You could actually cut out the battles from almost every episode and not miss any plot. out of the 52 episodes of season 1, a total of 3 battles had the game AND plot happen at the same time. It failed to do the one thing every other card game anime has done.
