HGSS is not an outlier the outlier was FRLG. Ohmori was not the series director at the time and really that's still Masuda, he became the primary game director immediately after ORAS when Masuda was pleased that he properly shat up his first game that he directed and Masuda was too lazy to keep directing so he created a new role for himself so he could just go to interviews and act like troll Yoda when Luke first met him in the swamp. Ohmori is most likely focusing on Gen 9. If it's Ohmori for DP remakes I might jump off a cliff.
Something tells me that they're keeping Iwao from directing another game again. Even with USUM being half effort he still made the rest of them look bad just like Morimoto and Unno did.
