Completely new region with highly varied climate, starts in an icy area with ice types, by third gym you go through a volcano for fire types, etc. Post game is a series of islands that can be done in any order but with a main quest that must be done in order

Medium difficulty: gym leaders have 6 pokemon always and have type coverage but their teams are not 31IV mons nor are they EV trained. Level cap that is 2 levels above each gym leader's ace to incentivize team building instead of grinding

- I want a trial/gym hybrid challenge. Where you have to complete a mini trial before facing off the gym leader.
- Following Pokemon return, and Pokemon have overworld abilities depending on the species
- Evil team is actually a threat and or thought provoking instead of a band of goof balls
- Champion is actually hard.
