Eh, they literally remade diamond and pearl with platinum giratina post game and dynamax spots around the region, and they used polished gen 8 graphic, arceus has slightly bigger lore but everything is the same, except few new boring characters like in ORAS

Just because LGPE uses the Gen 8 engine doesn't mean that the assets from it are Gen 8.

It's the current manchild cope, LGPE is "classic" pokémon gameplay, Gen VIII is modern, because they got rid of the HM's.

So? LGPE got rid of HMs. That has nothing to do with the gameplay, it's the progression of the game in LGPE that's more traditional than SWSH.
SM is guilty of the same things as SWSH tho

Are you being retarded on purpose? I like Gen VII but that's the biggest criticism people had of it. The progression is entirely different from Gen VI and below, and Legpiss was a return to form in that sense despite the GO-pandering.

No I'm not, in fact I can't even tell what you're trying to argue because you're implying that I'm making some sort of statement about HMs.
Removing them was a good thing. LGPE also removed them but it retained the classic-style gameplay progression from the originals. It's purely coincidence that the Alola and Galar games don't have HMs and gate progression differently.

That's the best case scenario. I really like raids and the co-op functionality could do them justice. Raids ARE a GO feature after all, so they would be well at home in a Let's Go remake. If only SWSH had a better online interface, raids could keep me playing endlessly.
It's a shame GameFreak doesn't put regional gimmicks in remakes even when it could benefit them, ORAS could have been the definitive remake if they just had all the same character customization options as XY.

I was a teenager before Pokémon launched son. that's why I know classic gamelay doesn't end with HM's, when the rest of the game still does what they started in Gen I and II.
May as well say anything with abilities isn't classic, because they didn't exist at the start, but that's retarded too because abilities (or HM's for that matter) aren't vital for the endgoal of getting the 8 badges and beating the Champion, as the games recently have proved.

Game Freak created them, just like they'd created everythig else GO added (Raids only got added to GO in 2017, a year after Game Freak started working on Gen VIII's re-production and around time they started to put it into production proper).

LGPE does not have HMs, they never did, and they never will-- yet it still uses the more traditional and open style of progression that Pokemon games are known for.
