>>46247418You're a lucky one. It really is fucking depressing. We've conditioned ourselves to be completely reliant on technology, whether it be phones or in my case computers. Most parents have just given up trying to raise their kids properly either due to high divorce rates or the parents just not caring enough; I loved my mother but she rarely ever set boundaries and it fucked me over hard in the long run. God rest her soul. We try and follow what's trendy just to find some sense of belonging and acceptance the world no longer provides. Most zoomers are on the left because that's what rules the social meta right now. People will become gay or transgender not because they are or want to but because they know they'll find acceptance and work their way up the social ladder. The problem is they are living a lie and ultimately find themselves more unhappy and ultimately suicidal. Guys who've lost the genetic lottery only join these movements because they want sex and don't really care about the issues, but mostly only find either similar women or hot lesbians. If they inevitably fail to get laid, they'll just catch mental disorders like the common cold until they either shoot in the completely opposite direction of the political spectrum how ever far that may be, give up on politics and become an anti-political reclusive NEET, or they go postal. Social media and modern pop culture have fried our brains to the point where we need constant stimulation to be interested in something, causing multiple diagnoses for ADD related disorders. Combine the previous fact with the constant need for consumption and companies realize that they can put little to no effort into their product because they know we're going to consume it anyways. And if organic social connection doesn't do it for you, do drugs. Marijuana is pretty common nowadays, but stuff like molly and Xanax are taking over and giving us a brand new experience besides getting high. But that's how it is I guess.
