I love Blastoise, but personally I think Lapras would fit better as the Kanto Water starter. It neatly conveys a nice "land, sky, water" theme.
Are there any starters you would want to swap out with a different Pokemon?

I'm not a huge fan of them so I wouldn't hate the unova starters being replaced by sewaddle, tympole, and litwick. That said It would feel wierd to find any of the current unova starters in the wild compared to the 3 replacements suggested so its fine as is.

You'll have to change types but emboar shouldn't have been the Unovan fire starter

I also thought of a Steel/Ice/Ground trio, but it's a lot harder to balance considering how fucking weak Ice is.
