>>46252156>Xenoblade 2 is bad because it has forced shared expXenoblade 2 lets you choose to not level up, and also lets you level down in NG+ (which was added after the game launched). Leveling down is a base feature in the Xenoblade Definitive Edition as well, meaning this will probably be a feature they carry forwards in standard gameplay.
>Digimon Cyber Sleuth is bad because it has forced shared expHaven't played it
>Persona 5 is bad because it has forced shared expHaven't played it
>SMRPG is bad because it has forced shared expI guess Dragon Quest is bad because it has no party members at all. Things change over tine, improvements are made, sometimes mistakes are made. It depends on the game, and the era it was made. Red and Blue had EXP share, but you had to earn it, for example. What's supposedly a standard can change. Hell, Kingdom Hearts games have specific abilities for no EXP
>DQXI is bad because it has forced shared expHaven't played it, but I did play 9, where you were allowed to make your own parties, so you could just cycle out characters for new low level ones whenever you want, as well as change your job which each have their own level, and revocate back to level 1 several times.
>FFVII is bad because it has forced shared expHere's a statistical analysis on FF7, if you want to read it

>please tell me how to make my weapons not break in botwYou should have the option, Nintendo are notorious for not giving you options in general. Sakurai is oddly one of the few people at Nintendo who lets you fuck around with that shit, I dunno why. Even Monolith Soft goes back and forth sometimes, I'm baffled about how bad everything surrounding the tutorial in Xenoblade 2 are when the others were fine.
