>>46263345I'm a little confused about what "The Ultimate Partner Pokemon" means? Does it simply just involve the stats and mechanics? Personally, I don't really like the game mechanics system, I much rather follow the anime/manga which has Pokemon feel more "alive" and dynamic when it comes to combat and actual character.
>Pokemon: Lilligant>Type: Grass>Ability: Chlorophyll: She is built for moving as fast as possible to dodge everything she can and take people off guard while also getting to proper terrain. Has an ally who can set up sun.>Quiver Dance: Boosts Speed (Which means striking first and evading attacks), Special Attack, and Special Defense. This would be used to make Lilligant as untouchable as possible as we'd train heavily in evasion, taking advantages of confusion in foes, and moving around the environment/terrain.>Nature Power: Using anime logic, Lilligant would use its superior speed to move to different types of terrain to use different moves to meet the scenario. Moves like Power Gem, Earth Power, Hydro Pump, Tri-Attack, and Energy Ball would be used all the time through this.>Giga Drain: Heal from a distance and deal some solid damage. This would be for when she does get hit (by unavoidable attacks) or grappled making it harder/impossible for her to move. (If I could give her a held item like a Big Root to heal more, I would)>Pollen Puff: Explosive Bug Bomb, could be used for cover to displace sight and to counter other Grass types. Also can heal allies.>Personality: I don't really have an explicit "perfect" personality for anyone really. I think it'd be cool if it just had an actual character beyond a "battle pet". I do like the idea of it being able to learn how to talk without sacrificing its combat abilities, so my 'perfect partner pokemon' would know how to speak as well, so its not like when we're traveling I'm not talking to a brick wall who doesn't understand me.
