I've been playing pokemon since gen 1 and I still have yet to encounter a shiny.
I feel like I probably did see one at some point but didnt notice because some of the shinies are stupidly similar to the originals

My luck with random shinies in SwSh has been really good, I've gotten 5 by now, most of the time its 0-1

i have found more in swsh than any other game, even pre shiny charm

shiny gossifleur was my favorite find in SWSH
