My Crystal cart finally corrupted a few years back. Very sad days, my first ever level 100 was on there, and I remember getting the Pokerus a few levels before Didn't even know it existed in gen 2.

get a cart reader to pull the save file off of it, edit the save in pkhex to 1. backup your pokebros and 2. fix the save

2003 me thought it was a cool name.
2021 me still thinks so.

he was the only pokemon i ever trained on my first ever game playthrough. I caught 7 pokemon total and never got any legendaries.
