what would be the point of resetting EXP when you can reset the EVs already
just breed a new mon if you want to start over from lvl 1

This, also it's explicitly mentioned that it causes pain to the pokemon so it's basically Kaio-ken but for pokemon (you get a buff in your power but your body suffers)
