The only problem with Gen 7's dex was Rotom. The lack of NatDex isn't that bad since ALL the pokemon are still available (with other games, per usual). Is it shitty? Yes. But honestly I would've preferred different (but not missing) natdexes for Unova+Alola and Kalos+Galar, to give it the feeling of being a new place compared to Kanto+Johto+Hoenn+Sinnoh. Then make a "world"dex based off the old natdex for all pokemon that'd allow the newer natdexes to be shifted for new pokemon.
