First starter to hit Ubers AND win VGC almost every year when paired with any Storm Drain mon + Surf. Our Serperior is mostly the same as yours, except it’s attacking stats are now at 85, along with gaining Superpower, CC, and EQ, and a giga-evo that boosted all it’s stats by 20, along with Intimidate as it’s giga’s ability. Emboar was a Fire/Dark type and was the best Choice Band user out there thanks to it’s decent speed at 95 and Tough Claws as it’s HA and it’s giga-evo was even suspect tested by smoggies for Ubers because of it’s 123/110/110 bulk, 125 SpA and 150 Atk, and a Mold Breaker clone which gave it immunity to stat drops and taunt as it’s evo’s ability. The thing completely fucked Heatran to NU. In Gen 7, it got it’s giga-evo’s ability nerfed to just a regular mold breaker clone and Giga-Whiscash with Unaware and beefy min-maxed stats came along to ruin it and the rest of Uber’s, so it stayed in OU and Heatran got it’s own Giga-evo, so there’s that. Gen 5 was pretty calm for it’s competitive scene, but man did Gen 6 make the power creep unbearable with the broken G-Evos. Hell, Landorus and it’s Therian form were in NUBL before being OU after everything else was severely nerfed.
