>>46292055>>46292062This matches up with my experience too. It's not every order, but I've had times where I've ordered anime figures from Japan and gotten little bonuses like cards or something.
One time I even got a hand-written note. "Thank you very much for you bid. I wish I was far from Japan, the heart of your future fortune. By [name]" At least, it looks like it says fortune, it might say torture. I've never quite understood it but I've held onto it ever since anyway.
Also, it seems like the Japanese take better care of their cards on the whole, though this might just be selective memory on my part.
Long story short, every time I've dealt with a Japanese person, it's been respectful. Even cases where there's nothing extra included or anything, it's always been shipped quickly and I've always gotten exactly what I've ordered. I'm sure there are scumbags in Japan too but I've not come across any personally.
