>>46294151It's pretty much 50% of all threads on this board, though, and it's not like the other 50% are singing the games' praises. And since the board is dedicated to a single series of games, is it really that surprising that a large amount of people are going to get their feathers ruffled by what has turned into a nearly-ceaseless stream of criticism? Of course, the fact that this happens at all vindicates /vp/'s existence as a place to quarantine fans who would otherwise be running rampant. At least the shitflinging is all in one place, but the willingness of people here to have what are by now the same handful of "discussions" about the series' failings is getting pretty fucking old at this point. /vp/ is the board of dead horse beating. The density of threads dedicated solely to complaining is absolutely way, way higher than any other board, and it's basically by design. I agree with
>>46295017 but for the complete opposite reason. General threads on their appropriate boards would be much more conducive to actual discussion than a board where people can indulge in continuously beating a horse whose bones have already been ground to dust. Anyone who pretends like any actual discussion was going to occur in this thread is high on their own farts. This topic has been discussed to death, and any further attempts to discuss it are dedicated shitflinging threads that aren't even attempting to be disguised.
