>Movepool is pitiful, having the standard water type fare with the only standout moves being fucking Sweet Kiss and Heart Stamp, neither of which are even remotely good
>Abilities do jack shit for it because one of them just boosts its speed in rain, which, since it can't do anything WITH that speed, is fucking worthless. The other prevents it from getting burnt, which doesn't even matter because a stray fart will knock it out thanks to its awful bulk
>By the time you can get it in every game it's in, there's far stronger options available, and even then, most of the time to get access to it you fucking need a water type to begin with
>Even the heart scales that it's famed for are so fucking trivial to get in Gen 4 and beyond that you'll have at least 6 or 7 by the time it's available
This Pokemon is so fucking worthless that there's literally no reason to even use it. In fact, it's so fucking terrible that it has never been ranked on any sort of viability listing in any tier in any generation of Pokemon ever. Even fucking Delibird and Ledian have had niche uses across the various tiers of competitive Pokemon, but Luvdisc is so fucking shit that it's fundamentally worthless
