Following Pokemon is an overrated gimmick that adds nothing to the games. In fact it actively harms them by taking manpower away from things that actually need improvement. Imagine instead of all those walking animations they put the time into battle animations. What if instead of cramming following mons into the SwSh DLC they actually added the rest of the national dex. Only autistic retards like following pokemon and think it makes up for a lock of actual quality. It's why there are so many retards who think Let's Go is better than SwSh even though in every aspect SwSh is leaps and bounds better.
