Why are people suddenly defending these games and saying "LGDP wouldn't be that bad" when there was outrage during their release. I've played the games and I know they're not bad but they certainly aren't the best and the catching mechanic, while a nice change, is boring as all hell after a while. But seriously where the fuck was this energy when they first came out. I also still don't see how a LGDP would be better than a straight remake. Like HGSS is the definitive best remake, so why can't it be like that. Modern graphics, modern improvements, additions of new mons, QoL changes and make it a challenge while keeping the base games and all of the extra changes from platinum. Why is that not what people want all of a sudden. Why the fuck we gonna settle for a shitty let's go rendition of Sinnoh.
