I’ve been one of the people who has helped create the game. I’m not saying what company, department or job role as I do not wish to get into trouble but it’s been killing me that I have to keep this secret.

There is one brand new Pokemon in the game, I believe this is a generation 9 Pokemon. It looked like an orca and it’s called orcassin. I do not know what evolution stage it is if any.

The illumina phenomenon is in different areas of the islands. You will see the ground sparkle and when a Pokemon enters that area, they illuminate and show behaviour you can’t find them do like pikachu illuminates and dances or when Grookey beats his chest. When you show the professor, you will get the highest mark for your photodex but it’s not as easy to find.

There is at least one dlc i know of for Pokemon snap which includes another archipelago island and some more Pokemon.
