Alola was one of the most soulful regions and it's a shame it's remake got butchered with the Let's go peeper style. I don't care if the game itself is mechanically more similar to the older games. SM and SWSH are the new traditional style and it's good.

Legpiss was almost as bad as Unova and Kalos. That's how much they tainted Kanto. I'm honestly shocked they didn't make Charizard the fly Pokemon and it put off the entire game for me. I couldn't even finish it after that. I got lost too many times.

Even if LGPE was the traditional style (it's not and Serebii has confirmed this) it doesn't stop the games from being worse than SWSH in every way possible. LGPE was nothing but gimmicks stacked on top of gimmicks. At least with SWSH it didn't feel like a chore to play.

Just because you ignore it doesn't make it true. You KNOW Kanto was all over the place and kids definitely got lost in there. I'm fucking 38 years old and I couldn't figure out where to go after the dark tunell and the game doesn't tell you.
If LGDP happens then it's the end of this franchise.

Listen. I know you think you're funny but this isn't something to keep trying to meme. Kids NEED that simplicity in order to play the game. When I was 12 I tried playing Diamond after I had just gotten through with my playthrough of Sun. I couldn't force myself to do it. The original game doesn't even tell you how to get out of the starting town since I couldn't access the map to see where the next objective was. Truth be told I STILL haven't finished Diamond. I can't figure it out even now that I'm a grown ass man. If you're seriously trying to push LGPE as a GOOD thing then you are lost. It would go back on the YEARS of progress they've been making since Sun and Moon and that's just sad.

What's the point of the town map if it doesn't show you where you need to go?? All of the traditional games (SM/USUM/SWSH) had this feature.
I don't want to fucking explore I just want to play the game!!
Let's go peepoo is a shit stain on the otherwise perfect soulful gem that was Gen 7. If Gen 8 gets another bushit spinoff remake like HGSS I will end it.

By the time of Gens 5 and 6 they were, yes.
You only needed Cut in Unova and Surf in Kalos. Nothing else.

You're literally lying. Cut and Rock Smash were definitely needed in Kalos, and in areas they weren't required the map was blocked off by "power outages" that only affected you.
