also: i caught and released Necrozma from the first time I did necrozma's max lair and I'm pretty sure I can't catch it again. am i forever stuck on this quest? (he doesn't take my shiny one cause it's from another generation, or another game, something like that)

what do you mean? i achieved some rank or whatever in the battle stadium like, a year ago, and that was before one or both of the dlc's, but i have them both now. if there's some software update bullshit I need, IDK why it doesn't auto-download it.

Well, I still don't know what to say about your first point, but why do you need to capture Necro in the max raid? Regardless if you release it or not, you're only allowed to catch one, but otherwise, it should act like any other Necro as far as fusing it with Sun-Lion or Moon-Bat.

Frankly, why did you let it go? I guess you can try catching it again if you really do require it to complete a quest, otherwise you might be locked out. Again, do you want me to trade you one to see if it trips the quest?
