the full arts from the Sun and Moon era have a basic 1 color background, and the holo foil patter is 2 designs. either a chipped design or for the ultra beats more of a swirl design.
but from the EX era they not only used more coloring, but they used the holo pattern to give more depth to the card. such as the Alakazam has psychic energy symbols. the Thunderus and the Kyogre's attack being represented with the holo foil patter.
this is a level of depth that I enjoy more than what they did with the sun and moon full art cards.
some of the tag team cards are ok. most of them have a Pokémon that I like and others that I don't like. which I see as a downside. but they also lack the extra depth as well with their foil patterns.
