Has anyone actually replayed these recently?
>SLOW! Text scrolls too slow even on fastest, the menus are clunky, slight delays after commands in battle
>tacked on story elements and bloat like the friendand kimono girls plot
>adds an additional HM which is barely even used
>obnoxious remixes at times, goldenrod is shite
>ugly jittery graphics in the overworld at times due to the 2.5D
>keeps problems of originals like pokemon distribution, level scaling, and everything non kanto being weak as shit

I won't deny they have more content, but when the game is such a slog to play through who cares? I'd take Crystal or any other gen but 1 and 6 over this. Incredibly overrated.
