>>46333906I think the plan was to do two teams and an Ingress-like setup with Pokemon catching. But they wanted wider appeal so went for a simpler approach. I've noticed some weird inconsistencies in the way the game is set up. As in, I think you could have actually joined Team Rocket vs another Team.
For example, one of the things I noticed was how Candela's uniform makes no sense compared to Spark and Blanche's. It doesn't match her bird's colors at all. She's also the only leader who's team is implied to have existed before all of this, and they have the same goals as Team Rocket. Not sure if her being the oldest was just an original plan, or a carry over, too. Makes me wonder.
