I played Diamond with Turtwig and Chimchar is ugly as shit so probably will choose Piplup on Pearl 2

Tempted to just transfer in a Shiny Turtwig from Home when it drops. Maybe even an all low level team of shinies to raise. Would be a nice change of pace from how often I’ve played Gen Four.

Kind of depends, if it's Diamond/Pearl's lineup I'd go for Chimchar since there's not many fire types available in the main game otherwise.
