Wrong, the style didn't draw sales and the kids didn't care. It'll coy Sword and Shield's style, like every core remake followed the current gen style.

Mabchildren can't handle the loss of their in-battle bangle gimmick for a *different* in-battle bangle gimick. That the re-remake was the last GF game to have it before being thrown to the spin offs seems to make them thing a let's go to Sinnoh would keep it.

They won't touch the broad strokes of the lore, just tweak it to fit the current universe, like they did with ORAS to Gen III.

Does anyone really think a Let's Go Sinnoh would bring back Z-Moves though? The original Let's Go didn't even have it and it was Gen 7.
Between the bangle gimmicks I don't really see any preference since both Z-Moves and Dynamax are basically the same thing with a different spin.

That's why I'm in the Let's Go boat, honestly. SWSH and SM were barely even recognizable with how different the progression was. LGPE not only retained Kanto's original openness but expanded it by allowing you to do even more things at your leisure and without HMs.
Stylistically, too. We haven't gotten a "modern" LG style game but at the very least we know if they keep the original map like in a Let's Go remake it wouldn't be simplified into hallways like SM and SWSH did.

I don't trust GameFreak to do a "modernized" remake until they actually start making games that are above what they were putting out in Gens 1-6.
SM and SWSH were just a downgrade while LGPE was... different, but still more of the same.

Why would you assume a gen 4 based Let's go to not have items or abilities?
They specifically wanted to remake R/B/Y with LGPE, games that didn't have those features to begin with.
It's true that wild battles may still be missing, but is that so much of a problem? While I'd prefer to have those, desu I don't care about it that much. Legendary pokemon still have to be battled before catching them in LGPE.

Well, every time I get tempted into buying LGPE, I redownload the demo and play for a few minutes... The Go catching mechanics just ultimately ruin it for me. It’s too boring. I can’t even get through Viridian Forest. I know the “grind” is not really all that engaging either, but it’s still kinda enjoyable at the start of every game.

Cause megas haven't been used for two generations. Megas were in ORAS because they came after XY. DP remakes come after SWSH so they would have dynamaxing

They went out of their way to removed contests from the Gen 3 engine. They removed the underground and super contests from the Gen 4 engine, and they removed character customization from the engine in Gen 6.
What's more, when they actually did start doing big new gimmicks, Gen 7's remake didn't even get it either.
Remind me why Dynamax would be in a DP remake in any case?

They added that big new gimmick to the gen 3 remakes(megas), that feels like they would add this new big gimmick that also changes forms to the gen 4 remakes (dynamaxing). Also there wasn't a remake in gen 7, Unless ur talking about Ultra Sun Ultra Moon and there were also Z moves in that so I don't get ur point there. To be fair we have only had one remake in this new era of pokemon( Megas, Zmove, Regional forms, dyna) so I don't think either of us can confidently say anything obv.

All there in the article anon. Given they knew about the Switch Lite, there was no point trying to get Switches in kid's hands (indeed they've never launched a core Pokémon game since GBA without releasing it alongside the kid-friendly upgrade of the new unit, you should have realised that).
It's like you're determined to ignore precedence, because you can't handle the removal of an in-battle bangle gimmick for a different one.
