That's not a good thing. Making generations shorter the moment they went 3D was bad enough, what the fuck do you think is going to happen to this series the moment we start getting new gens every two years?
At that rate, we'll be getting more new Pokemon even with the reduced numbers after Gen V.

Gen 9 is going to be a live as a service game and feature all the regions. It'll be revealed tomorrow but not release until next Spring. ala the second Batfleck leak.

Likely theyll spend most of the stream hilighting their other releases like Snap 2, Sleep and everything else. Last two minutes will be a small teaser for DP.

Yea but imagine the absolute shitshow gen 9 would be if gamefreak only 2 took years to develop them. It takes them a full year just on concept and development phase, how the hell do you think they could pull it off without it being an absolute catastrophe of a game?

Just reuse ALL Swsh's assets and animations, add unused new Pokemon, slap some new music and UI bam new Gen
