All I want is pic related envisaged in 3D. That's it. SwSh got close enough to that graphically.

I dont want the characters shrunk down to fucking gay retarded chibi style. X/Y did that and it looked like absolute ass and is a large part of the reason I hate those games.

Are you retarded? Pokemon was only ever chibi style because of graphical limitations of handheld systems. All the artwork and the in-battle sprites suggested clearly that the original vision was to have the characters and pokemon be fully sized and detailed. There is zero excuse to keep chibi-style games going on the fucking switch, unless they're deliberately trying to cater the game to 8 year olds.

Fucking lmao. It looked completely soulless like some shovelware game for 8 year olds. Its blatantly obvious they didnt have the graphical capability on the 3DS to do proper 3D, so they should have just stuck to the super detailed and soulful B/W animated sprites. On the Switch there is ZERO excuse to bring back chibi style garbage. Literally all they had to do was the use the graphical style of the alleged 2022 Arceus game for the remakes as well. I cannot explain how boundless my disappointment is right now.

Only because of graphical limitations of previous systems. On GBA and DS it made sense for the overworld to feature miniature sprites. On a fully 3D console there is zero excuse not to have full sized models in both overworld and in-battle.

There's a chance Gamefreak will put a tight limit on what this new company does, though. It might be more visually polished but GF might force them to keep the games barebones.
