In the trailer I liked it, felt like that Zelda Remake.
But seeing the pictures in full res I realize it's awful. I can't put my finger on why exactly, but it looks wrong.

I like chibis -- I think they're very cute -- but the ones in this style where the limbs fatten up towards the hands and feet aren't my favorite. And the faces looks so flat and lifeless. It's like they slapped the face from the full sized models on the chibi ones. If the bodies are simpler, let the faces be simpler too.

Would've been cuter and more charming if the overworld models looked faithful to the sprites.

I'll give them this, I bitched plenty about how everything felt smaller and closer together in the 3D games, especially clear with the ORAS routes, and this looks like it corrects that. It's the first I've heard them acknowledge it, anyway.
