Gen 7 isn't a slog because of technical issues though. Legends looks really janky, and I'm not convinced they have the combat and overworld mechanics polished yet. As of now it looks like a mess that needs more time than they're projecting to fix unless they showed a really early build.

You can't fuckign play the battles because they take incredibly long thanks to the animations and even dips fps all the time. The fuck you are on?

Even botw had fucking fps dips all the time.

They only started caring when we got Pokemon a console that could actually push decent graphics, but even then, the only reason the people got so hung up over it was because SwSh were literally 3DS games pretending to be Switch games. Legends is the first Pokemon game that looks like a Switch game.
