Nah LGPE is ultra shit because it was stuck in that terrible area of like 3DS games and an actual proper Switch title. It could have the best models in the series and nothing would change as far as my opinion of it.

At least the D/P remakes are just trying to commit to being like the original Pokemon games. If you didn't like the original then it's not for you anyways, but LGPE didn't appeal to me as someone that grew up adoring the region.

LGPE at least is a remaining of Kanto. It has fully orchestrated music, so many new features and is overall a faithful but new experience. The DP remakes are literally just 1:1 remasters of a 15 year old game, and somehow manage to look worse than it in most occasions.

yes, the correct choice is BDSP, finally a return to better times, and better look for pokemon. Hopefully gamefreak just copy pasted sinnoh so there won't be any shit designs from later gens.
