But this is probably the laziest approach they could've taken. 1:1 remake from what we've seen so far, no new character designs, no new forms for Dialga/Palkia (they show their renders on the website), no indication yet that it'll have any additional content over the originals (can we at LEAST get a Delta-episode postgame for Platinum content? Distortion World? we can probably kiss the Battle Frontier goodbye forever)... Graphics aside, it's just the most basic and vanilla remake they could've made, it's boring. Why do a remake if it's going to be so low effort? And christ, if it ends up only having the regional dex available despites the originals having the full national dex, then what's the fucking point. That'll be $60 of course, pay up.
I'm holding my breath for additional content they haven't shown off yet, but my first impressions are extremely poor. Looks like what we see is what we'll get. Somehow ORAS might be the better remake here...
