I grew up with Pearl and didn't play Platinum until way later.
When I finally did, it infuriated me how good it was. So much shit should have been in DP from the start. DP are basically obsolete beta versions.
Thank fuck they seem to be done with these third versions.

Sinnoh was the only one in the trio I played and gen 4 was my favorite region for the longest time because of it.
I heard a lot of problems with gen 4 being slow and having ass distribution and I didn't get it until I finally saw a comparison video.

i bought platinum and soulsilver for around 20€ each a few years ago in a gamestop, right before they became impossible to find
if i recall correctly mine was the last copy of soulsilver in all of sicily according to their website, i had to travel like a hundred kilometers for it
