The modern convenience of everyone having a recording camera on their smartphone has kind of made this sort of thing not as special as it used to be.
What's worse is that you don't even really NEED to take pictures in the game, there's so much other console-recording software out there to capture the game's animations.
Really, the game itself will be just for seeing the animations and interacting with the pokemon more than taking the pictures themselves, of course you know people will use the picture editor to make memes and lewds.
