Honestly makes me sad to even compare GF to the MH team. MH is the one franchise I have never been given a reason to worry about. Rise will 100% be excellent. GF nowadays can't be trusted with a fuckin trailer let alone a game

multiple methods to catch a pokemon, you could either:
-battle it straight away and weaken it only to catch it like the usual method
-use stealth to approach it and actually have a bonus catchrate if the fucker didn't notice you
-befriend it using berries or shit like that

If they're going to divide the series into faithful remakes and open world experimentation I wish they'd just slap Pokemon on the MH skeleton, similar to Hyrule/Dynasty Warriors. Pump some of their jillions of dollars into it to get ~half a gen's worth of unique real-time fighting movesets, release the rest through DLC if you have to.
