>>46364135Obviously no single game is going to please everybody on this board, but I think most people feel similarly about, when they think "remake", wanting a game that closely evokes nostalgia from playing the original but also showcasing graphical and other improvements. Maybe not a game that deliberately tries to look as much like the original as possible despite the console and the series itself have undergone big improvements since then...? Especially since FRLG, HGSS and ORAS all matched the visual style of their contemporary generation.
