Gen 4 fucking sucked. It looked like shit and HMs were annoying.

The reason this shit is so horrible is because it proves once and for all that Nintendo/GF/Pokemon Company will absolutely never make a good game ever again. Even if you hate Gens 3,4,5,6, or 7 they at least had redeeming qualities and usually introduced fun mechanics you wanted to see expanded upon.

Never again. Not ever.

We thought that a remake would be the one thing that would get the franchise back on its tracks, but they've outright REFUSED to even produce one!

We thought we'd go to an updated Sinnoh, maybe they'd worked on the battle aesthetics, maybe we'd get new character designs and some nods to Platinum.
Instead, we got a port with updated graphics.

They had some ideas on how to bring the wild area to Sinnoh but they couldn't make it work, so they created 2 games for extra money.
>Literally a massive field and a village
>Starters from 3 different regions for no reason
>Audacity to make the characters based off Dawn and Lucas, even though it's a prequel, while the actual remakes don't get redesigns.
>Same mons as DP, a game you will have played through 6 months prior.

I honestly can't believe it. It's hilarious.

If I could sit back and just laugh as Sinniggers getting the fattest shit laid on them I would. But I can't stop thinking about the future of the actual games and unlike with the 3DS, it's not piss easy to hack my console and pirate.

The sad part is you're right. Gen 4 had a lot of shortcomings and this I think looks objectively worse, which is saying a lot, plus you KNOW the platinum content is axed. Why would anyone play this?
