My theory for these shots is.
1. New pokemon that work like Ride.
2. Silhouettes like the old fly animations.
3. Place holder models
4. For the climbing one. there's a possibility it could just be your character wearing weird climbing gear. I mean they made you wear spandex to ride a fucking bike in the past few games.

I would have to say that looks more like the player climbing. Maybe the big box on the characters back and that wavy plume are part of some climbing gear you receive later on in the game

Thats what I was thinking. The plume is reminiscent of Nuzleaf or Grovyle/Sceptile but the feet and forearms of the character dont line up with that

I doubt it's a new Pokémon. Probably an "older/primitive" Stantler.
Unless Gamefreak is really switching up the formula and we're going to have no new starters and the dex will go from Gen 8 mythicals to new non-starter Pokémon.

Daikenki is a samurai and his helmet resembles a stag. An important part of japan samurai history
The horns are made from coral though
Bakfun becomes a more agile monster and not so bulky as the original
Junaipa resembles a tengu which is a bird like yokai popular in jaoan

That doesn’t mean they’ll make no merch, it’s pokemon it’ll get merch no matter what.
